Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing Brunswick East man, Mahmud.
The 50-year-old was last seen at a hospital in Fitzroy on 30 September about 8.30pm.
Police and family have concerns for his welfare due to his medical conditions.
Mahmud is described as 180cm tall with a medium build and short black hair.
He was last seen wearing camouflage pants and t-shirt, a black jumper and shoes.
Mahmud is known to frequent railway stations, libraries and shopping centres in the Brunswick East and Reservoir areas. He may be travelling using public transport.
Police have released an image of Mahmud in the hope someone can supply information on his current whereabouts.
