Police seek information on Alice Springs 4 March

Northern Territory Police are seeking public assistance to locate a man following a traffic incident in Alice Springs last month.

On Friday 25 February just after 1pm, police observed the man driving in a reckless manner along Priest Street.

Officers followed the vehicle to a shopping centre in Northside where they directed the driver to pull over.

The driver, 43-year-old Johnathon “Johnny” Richards, disobeyed police directions and drove off in a dangerous manner, resulting in other vehicles having to take evasive action.

Police initiated a traffic pursuit, which was terminated shortly after.

Police are now appealing for public assistance for information as to the whereabouts of Mr Richards, who is described as being of Caucasian in appearance, 190cms tall with a slim build, short greying hair and short face stubble.
