Police seek information on cyclist injured at Jamboree Heights, QLD

Investigators from the Forensic Crash Unit are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist was found with serious head injuries at Jamboree Heights early yesterday morning (January 29).

It is believed the 71-year-old local man was cycling on Sirocco Street near Galleon Street just after 12:30am on Saturday.

He was found a short time later by a passing motorist on Galleon Street, near the corner of Fathom Close, with serious head injuries and transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital.

Police are attempting to determine what occurred and how the man sustained his injuries.

Anyone with information, or relevant dashcam/CCTV footage of the area during that time or who may have witnessed the man cycling in the area, are asked to contact police.
