Logan detectives are investigating after a man sustained a laceration during an altercation with a driver at Kingston yesterday (Friday, October 22).
About 3.15pm a verbal altercation occurred between the male drivers of two vehicles near an education facility on Laughlin Street.
It will be alleged that following a brief exchange between the pair, the driver of a bronze Toyota Tarago exited his vehicle, reached into the rear window of a grey Toyota Corolla sedan and stabbed the driver once with an unknown implement.
The man then re-entered the van before driving away at-speed in the incoming lane, past roadworks on Laughlin Street. He was last seen turning right onto Polaris Street.
The driver of the Corolla, a 48-year-old man, drove himself to hospital for treatment of his injuries and reported the incident to police.
Detectives from Logan Central Criminal Investigation Branch have released images of a bronze van seen in the area at the time of the incident.
They are asking the driver of that van to contact them or anyone with information in relation to the van, or any other similar vans seen in the area at the time, to come forward.
Anyone with information or dash cam vision related to the incident or the vehicle pictured is urged to come forward immediately (details below).
