Police Seek Information On Robbery In Alice Springs 15 March

Northern Territory Police are calling for information after man was robbed in Alice Springs yesterday.

Around 2pm, an unknown female attended a residence on Aneura Place, Sadadeen, allegedly requesting cigarettes.

The woman allegedly entered the residence and robbed its sole occupant, a wheelchair bound man. An altercation has occurred and the man was allegedly pulled from his wheelchair, suffering minor injuries, with the woman fleeing the scene.

The offender is described as female, aged in her late twenties, with long blonde hair, a dark complexion, medium build, wearing a black t-shirt, jeans and black thongs.

The Alice Springs Criminal Investigation Branch is investigating the incident and is urging anyone with information to make contact on 131 444. Detectives are also requesting residents in the area to review their CCTV between 1:30pm and 2:30pm.
