Police seek information: Serious assault in Labrador, QLD

Queensland Police have released vision of a man who may be able to assist with investigations into a serious assault in Labrador on Friday night, October 6.

Investigations indicate around 6.10pm, a 75-year-old man was walking along Marine Parade when an unknown altercation occurred with another man passing on a scooter.

The man on the scooter continued before he disembarked off his scooter and approached the older man.

He pushed and struck the 75-year-old man, causing the older man to fall and hit his head.

The 75-year-old man was transported to hospital, where he remains in a serious but stable condition.

The other man remained on scene for some time before fleeing on his scooter.

Investigators are urging anyone near the western side of Marine Parade between 6pm and 6.20pm to contact police.

Investigations are continuing.
