Police seek information: Serious traffic crash at Enoggera Reservoir, QLD

The Forensic Crash Unit are investigating after a motorcycle rider suffered critical injuries following a traffic crash at Enoggera Reservoir yesterday afternoon, Saturday, October 29.

Preliminary information indicates around 2pm; a 1968 Triumph motorcycle was travelling east along Mount Nebo Road around 400 metres from Bellbird Grove Road when a collision occurred with a blue 2013 Nissan Navara travelling west.

The rider, a 56-year-old Bongaree man, sustained critical injuries and was transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.

He was assisted by a riding companion and occupants of the Nissan, who were not physically injured.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating and are appealing for witnesses, especially those with dashcam vision of the crash or the moments leading up to it, to come forward.
