Police seek sightings of Suzuki motorbike involved in Cold Rock Ice Creamery armed robbery

Launceston CIB are seeking public sightings of a white Suzuki 500cc motorcycle involved in the armed robbery at Cold Rock Ice Creamery around 9.25pm on Saturday night.

“As part of the ongoing police investigation into the armed robbery at Cold Rock on Charles Street, police have determined a white Suzuki 500cc motorcycle was involved,” said Detective Senior Constable Josh Hayes.

“This motorcycle was captured on CCTV in the vicinity of the store at the time of the robbery with a rider who had a hood pulled over the helmet, and a pillion passenger.”

“Police have also determined this same motorbike was travelling in the Launceston CBD before the robbery between 9:15pm and 9:25pm and police would like to speak to anyone who saw it at that time or has footage of it.”

Anyone in the Launceston CBD area on Saturday night who has dash cam or smart phone vision of the motorbike is asked to upload it to police via the axon community portal: https://taspol.au.evidence.com/axon/citizen/public/motorbike-cold-rock-ice-creamery-armed-robbery
