Police Seek Witnesses To Assault In Alice Springs 21 March

Northern Territory Police are calling for witnesses after an assault on a worker in Alice Springs on the weekend.

Just before 5:30pm on Saturday 16 March 2024, police received a report that a male had entered a business premises along Lindsay Avenue and assaulted a staff member.

A second staff member attempted to restrain the offender, before being assaulted himself.

As the offender was leaving the premises, he turned and struck the second employee again to the chest.

Neither victims were injured as a result of the assault.

Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
