Police are appealing for witnesses after a car was damaged on the Eastern Freeway last month.
Investigators have been told a woman was driving her white 2015 Honda HRV outbound in the far-left lane on 6 October about 11.30AM.
As she passed under Yarra Bend Road bridge, an unknown offender/s has dropped an object from the bridge, and it has struck the passenger side of the vehicle.
The driver and only occupant of the car was not physically injured but the car sustained damage to the front and rear passenger side doors.
Police would like to hear from anyone with information about the incident or any drivers who may have dashcam footage from the area at the time.
