Police seek witnesses to Frankston robbery

Frankston Criminal Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for public assistance following a robbery in Frankston last month.

Investigators have been told a male victim was walking along Young Street when he was robbed of his portable speaker around 12pm on Christmas Eve.

The offender fled after the incident and was last sighted on foot heading in an easterly direction away from the CBD.

Police have released a CCTV image of a man they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.

He is perceived as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in his late teens to early twenties and has a medium build.

He was wearing a black coloured jumper, green coloured shorts, a dark coloured baseball cap and sneakers. The offender appeared to have an ‘Anarchy’ symbol drawn on his right knee.
