Police seek witnesses to serious collision in Orrvale

Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are investigating after a serious collision in Orrvale on Monday, 10 May.

Emergency services were called to the intersection of Poplar Avenue and Orrvale Road to reports of a two-vehicle collision about 10.35am.

It is believed a white Toyota wagon was travelling east along Poplar Road and a black Hyundai sedan was travelling north of Orrvale Road before the collision at the intersection.

The sole occupant of the Hyundai, a 22-year-old Orrvale woman was flown to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

A 42-year-old Point Cook man, the sole occupant of the Toyota, was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

The exact circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be determined.

Investigators are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or saw vehicles matching those described in the area to come forward with information.
