Police Seek Witnesses To Sexual Assault In St Kilda

Bayside Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for public assistance following a sexual assault in St Kilda in February.

Investigators have been told the victim was at a licensed premises on The Esplanade about 2.50am on 18 February.

A man approached the victim and sexually assaulted her before walking away.

The offender is perceived to be of Indian appearance, 30-years-old with black facial hair and black mid-length hair which was tied into a ponytail.

He was wearing a white button-up shirt, white pants, and white sneakers with black markings.

Investigators have released footage of a man they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.
