Police investigating an incident where a man was fatally struck by a car in Te Puke on Tuesday night are appealing to the public for information.
The man was walking on Te Puke Highway, near Manoeka Road, around 8:30pm when he was struck by several vehicles.
He died at the scene from his injuries.
As part of Police’s ongoing investigation into what happened, we are seeking the public’s assistance.
We are looking for any dashcam footage, and/or CCTV footage showing the man walking on the highway prior to him being hit, or that shows the collision.
