Detectives are investigating the suspicious death of a woman at Biggera Waters this evening, 28 June.
Shortly before 8pm, emergency services were called to a residence on Loder Street in relation to a woman suffering life-threatening injuries.
She was declared deceased at the scene.
A 23-year-old man was arrested without incident and is currently assisting police.
No other people were injured and there was no threat to the public.
