A man has been charged today as part of an investigation into an alleged serious assault in Narangba on September 25, 2023.
It will be alleged the 29-year-old Deception Bay man was one of three people who entered a Coochin Avenue residence shortly before midday and assaulted a 58-year-old man before leaving the scene.
The victim sustained serious head injuries and was hospitalised for two weeks.
He has been charged with acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm, enter dwelling with intent, robbery in company and deprivation of liberty.
He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear in Caboolture Magistrates Court on March 25.
Detectives have released an image of another vehicle believe to be linked to the assault.
Anyone who recognises this vehicle or has further information is urged to contact police.
