Police update 2: Appeal for witnesses / dashcam vision: Fatal traffic crash at Windsor

Investigators have released vision of a black BMW SUV involved in a fatal traffic crash at Windsor on the weekend as they continue to appeal for information.

The vehicle is captured on CCTV travelling on Makerston Street towards Roma Street in Brisbane City around 11.51pm.

A short time later the black 2007 BMW SUV was travelling northbound on Lutwyche Road when it collided with a moped travelling north being ridden by a 32-year-old man from East Brisbane.

The BMW then veered into the southbound lanes and collided with a Subaru sedan driven by a 23-year-old Acacia Ridge man before also colliding with a Jeep.

The man on the moped and the driver of the Subaru both died at the scene.

Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam vision, in particular the movements of black BMW SUV, prior to the crash.

Two occupants from the BMW fled on foot and investigators would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the crash or has any information in relation to the movements of its occupants prior to and after the crash.
