Investigators are continuing to appeal for public assistance following a fatal traffic crash that claimed the lives of 31-year-old Katherine Jane Leadbetter and her partner, 37-year-old Matthew Philip Field yesterday in Alexandra Hills.

Anyone who may have seen the white Toyota Landcruiser in the Cleveland and Alexandra Hills area between 4pm and 5.25pm, and has not yet contacted police, is encouraged to do so.

Police are also urging anyone with CCTV or dash-cam footage to check recordings between 4pm and 5.25pm, particularly leading up to or around the intersection of Vienna and Finucane Roads, to assist in piecing together the moments prior to the incidents.

The couple’s second dog had been missing since the crash, however was located by members of the public late this morning. The dog is undergoing checks but appears to be uninjured.
