Northern Territory Police have arrested a man in relation to an alleged sexual assault in Alice Springs last week.
The 28-year-old man was arrested by detectives earlier today.
He remains in custody and is expected to be charged later this evening with sexual assault, burglary and other offences.
Detective Senior Sergeant Michael Schumacher said “This arrest was the result of extensive team work from the Criminal Investigation Branch, Forensics Unit, Community Resilience and Engagement Officer’s and General Duties members.
