Police investigating the death of an 11-year-old girl at an address in Mount Cotton are now treating the death as non-suspicious.
A woman in her 40s, who was known to the girl, was taken to the Redland Bay Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police will prepare a report for the Coroner.
