Police update: Man arrested after Christies Beach robbery, South Australia

A man has been arrested after he allegedly robbed a service station at Christies Beach last month.

Just after 5pm, Friday 29 July, a man entered the service station on Gulfview Road and threatened staff, stating that he had a weapon in his possession. The man stole an amount of cash and fled in a car. Thankfully, no one was physically injured.

Just after 4pm today (Saturday 13 August) police attended at property in Morphett Vale, where they believed the wanted man was. Patrols along with detectives from Southern District CIB and STAR Group, set up cordons around the property and just before 6pm, the 27-year-old from Morphett Vale was arrested without incident.

He has been charged with aggravated robbery and refused bail to appear in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court on Monday.
