A 20-year-old Stuart man has been charged with contravention of relevant order removing stated device, wilful damage, armed robbery, unlawful use of motor vehicle, dangerous operation a motor vehicle and evasion offence type 1 vehicle related.
Police intercepted an allegedly stolen vehicle on the Bruce Highway north of Innisfail after officers deployed a tire deflation device following investigations into two alleged armed robberies in Townsville yesterday morning.
The man is expected to appear in Cairns Magistrates Court today.
