Detectives from the Fortitude Valley Criminal Investigation Branch have charged a man with sexual assault following a previous public appeal.
It will be alleged around 7am on 30 July, a man approached a woman on Platform 1 at the Fortitude Valley Train Station and assaulted her.
She was not physically injured.
Following extensive investigations and assistance from members of the public, police yesterday charged a 28-year-old Redbank Plains man.
The man was issued a notice to appear for one count of sexual assault.
He is remanded in custody and is due to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court on 16 October.
