Police update: Unlawful entries – Driver

Northern Territory Police are continuing to investigate two unlawful entries in Driver on Monday, in which a large amount of valuable goods was stolen.

In the first incident, a group of five offenders entered a property in Driver Avenue just before 11am and after rummaging through the house, forced open a safe. The same group is believed responsible for a second unlawful entry nearby in Bailey Circuit later the same day.

Acting Superintendent Mark Bland said, “Strike Force Trident identified two youths involved, aged 13 and 15, and have recovered some of the stolen items. The youths and their families are assisting us with our enquiries.

“We are still calling for anyone with dash-cam footage or other information to come forward.”
