A man and a woman have been charged with attempted murder after a man sustained a gunshot wound in Maryborough on August 18.
It will be alleged an altercation occurred between the trio in the vicinity of Walker Street around 9:30pm, during which a 30-year-old man was shot.
He was transported in a serious condition to Hervey Bay Hospital before being airlifted to Princess Alexandra Hospital. He remains there in a stable condition.
Ongoing investigations led to the arrest today of a 29-year-old Urangan man and 39-year-old Maryborough woman.
They have both been charged with one count each of attempted murder and are due to appear in Maryborough Magistrates tomorrow (August 22).
