Police are investigating two incidents at neighbouring businesses in Pooraka overnight.
Just after 4am on Thursday 17 September, police were called to a bakery on Montague Road, Pooraka, after reports of an attempted break-in.
Staff working inside the bakery reported hearing three loud bangs from the front of the premises and found the front glass door had been smashed. A white ute was seen leaving the area at speed. It is believed the offenders were disturbed by staff inside the business and left without gaining entry.
While attending the incident, police discovered a neighbouring business had also been broken into. Officers searched the premises and found it had been ransacked. It appears a till was stolen during the break-in.
Crime scene investigators are attending to examine the scene and investigations are continuing.
