French culture will be celebrated at the 2018 Act-Belong-Commit Bonjour Perth festival at Market Square Park in Subiaco on November 10 and 11.

The family (and dog) friendly event is now in its fourth year and will feature a mouth-watering array of food and cooking demonstrations as well as sports and wellness, vintage cars, and travel and music stalls.

More than 20,000 people are expected to attend the festival, which will also feature the ever-popular French bulldog parade.

There are more than 9,500 French-speaking people in Western Australia who come from a wide range of countries including Belgium, Canada, Seychelles, Cameroon, and Mauritius as well as France.

The Bonjour Perth festival will reflect the cultural diversity of the French community with activities and exhibitions from around the French-speaking world.

The McGowan Government is proud to support the Act-Belong-Commit Bonjour Perth festival with $37,000 through Lotterywest, Healthway and the Office of Multicultural Interests.
