Emergency services are on the scene where high voltage power lines have fallen across multiple homes and streets in Sydney’s west, with residents of affected homes urged to remain indoors.
Police were called about 7am (Monday 28 January 2019), to assist with road closures, after reports of the incident.
Affected streets include Aquilina Drive, Beverly Place, Tilden Place, Polonia Avenue, Carroll Crescent, and other surrounding streets in the Plumpton area.
Residents of these locations are urged to remain indoors and follow the directions of emergency services personnel on scene.
Authorities are working to rectify the situation as soon as possible.
