Gang Crime Squad detectives have charged a member of the Rebels Outlaw Motorcycle Gang in relation to the unlawful displaying of prohibited insignia in a public place.
It will be alleged the 35-year-old man attended a licensed venue on Portside Promenade, Alkimos on Sunday 24 July 2022, and while at the venue he had tattoos – which are classified as prohibited insignia – visible to other persons present.
The man was charged with one count of ‘Displayed insignia of an identified organisation in a public place’, and he is due to appear in Joondalup Magistrates Court today, Friday 21 October 2022.
