Police have made an emergency declaration under the Public Safety Preservation Act (PSPA) due to an ongoing incident at Gailes this afternoon.
A exclusion zone has been established following a disturbance, with police attempting to make contact with an individual.
The exclusion zone includes Arnhem Street, Tiemens Street and parts of Old Logan Road.
Members of the public are advised to avoid the area.
Those within the exclusion zone are asked to remain indoors and limit movement until further notice.
