Police have made an emergency declaration under the Public Safety Preservation Act (PSPA) due to an ongoing incident in Kingaroy.
Police attended a Dookuna Street address this morning at 6.45am in response to a disturbance and are currently in contact with a man who is alone inside a residence.
The PSPA was declared at 8.40am with the exclusion zone bordered by Moonya, Doonkuna, Haley and Fisher Streets.
Members of the public are advised to avoid the area and those within the exclusion zone are asked to remain indoors until further notice.
