Public Exhibition Draft Hardship, Pensioner Concession and Debt Recovery Policy

Hawkesbury City Council’s Draft Hardship, Pensioner Concession and Debt Recovery Policy is on public exhibition until Tuesday, 7 July 2020 and is available for view and comment at Council’s community engagement website, Your Hawkesbury – Your Say at www.yourhawkesbury-yoursay.com.au

Council welcomes comments from community members on the draft policy, the Mayor of Hawkesbury, Councillor Barry Calvert said.

“Now is your chance to have your say,” the Mayor said.

“Our council staff understand that, from time to time, members of our community may experience financial difficulties and may require assistance in making payments, especially in these challenging times.

“Council is also committed to have consistent, fair and effective policies and processes for the management of debts owed to Council,” he said.

“We value your feedback, and all submissions will be considered as part of our consultation process,” he said.

“However you choose to make a submission, whether by mail, email or online, we want to ensure that everyone has the chance to comment before the closing date on Tuesday, 7 July 2020.”

In addition to online submissions via www.yourhawkesbury-yoursay.com.au/op2021, written submissions regarding the Draft Operational Plan may also be made any time during the exhibition period and can be mailed to Hawkesbury City Council, PO Box 146, Windsor NSW 2756, faxed to 4587 7740 or emailed to [email protected]
