Rural Export & Trading WA was granted an exemption to enable the MV Al Kuwait to travel to Kuwait during the prohibition of export of sheep by sea to the Middle East. An independent observer accompanied the consignment, which departed Fremantle on 18 June 2020. A summary of the key observations from the observer’s voyage report is now available on the department’s website. Given that this consignment was granted an exemption to travel, the department has determined that it is in the public interest to publish an additional report relating to the voyage.
