Perfection Fresh is officially the ‘Parents’ Choice’ taking out the top gong for its Qukes® baby cucumbers marketing campaign at this year’s Parents’ Voice Fame and Shame Awards.
Praised for promoting healthy eating to children in a fun way, the Qukes® campaign seen across television and digital media.
Perfection Fresh CEO Michael Simonetta was thrilled to receive the award, especially one voted for by Australian parents.
“Our aim has always been to find the very best in fresh and tasty produce from around the world and grow it locally for Australian families to enjoy,” said Mr Simonetta.
“Since introducing Qukes eight years ago, they have become a lunchbox favourite thanks to their sweet flavour and cool crunch. Our production continues to grow each year to keep up with demand for these delicious baby cucumbers.

Now in its 16th year, the Parents’ Voice Fame and Shame Awards celebrate food companies promoting a healthier lifestyle to children and highlight the worst of unhealthy food marketing.
The Parents’ Voice members nominate examples of the best and worst food marketing campaigns throughout the year, with parents then able to vote on the shortlisted ads to determine the winners.
It’s the second time, the Perfection Fresh Qukes® campaign has earned the praise from Parents’ Voice, coming runner-up in the Fame Awards in 2019.
Parent representative and mother of three Rebecca Zosel said the Qukes® campaign helped to make vegetables exciting for young kids.
“It’s really important that healthy eating is visible, and that the healthy options are appealing for kids and that’s why I love the playfulness of the Qukes campaign. It shows kids that veggie snacks can be both fun and yummy,” said Ms Zosel.
