The Crisafulli Government is delivering more opportunities for Queensland businesses selling the State to the world and acknowledging their contributions to their communities as they grow on the international stage.
A total of 48 finalists, including 22 based in regional Queensland, have been announced in the Premier of Queensland’s Export Awards 2026, which will showcase exporting excellence in sectors like agribusiness, advanced manufacturing, technology, health, education and professional services.
The Crisafulli Government is continuing to drive a trade reset and repair key international relationships which were left in tatters after the former Labor Government’s decade of decline.
Queensland’s international business agency, Trade and Investment Queensland, recently reached its $5 billion milestone under the Crisafulli Government and has supported thousands of jobs being created through trade across the State.
The export awards are among the most prestigious in Queensland’s business community and help open more doors for winners overseas, as shown by reigning Exporter of the Year, PWR Advanced Cooling Technology, which will be inducted into the Australian Export Awards Hall of Fame this year.
Minister for Finance, Trade, Employment and Training Ros Bates said Queensland businesses had shown resilience during a period of global uncertainty and the awards would acknowledge their ability to adapt in an evolving landscape.
“It’s no secret that this year has presented more than its share of challenges, and these awards are a fantastic way of backing businesses and encouraging them to push through and keep delivering results for their communities,” Minister Bates said.
“These finalists are demonstrating what can be achieved when Queensland innovation, expertise and ambition are taken to international markets.
“The Crisafulli Government will continue backing our exporters with initiatives like our Exporter Academy and Market Accelerator Program to ensure we get more exporters to export more in every part of the State.”
Winners will be announced at the Premier of Queensland’s Export Awards dinner on 8 October and will go on to represent Queensland at the Australian Export Awards 2026.
