Rider critical after motorcycle crash, NSW

A man is in a critical condition following a motorcycle crash in Sydney’s south-west today.

About 12.45pm (Saturday 29 February 2020), emergency services were called to Edgar Street near Augusta Street, Condell Park, after reports of a crash.

Police have been told a motorcycle and car travelling south along Edgar Street collided, before the motorcycle crashed into a pole.

The rider, a 23-year-old man, was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics at the scene before being taken to Liverpool Hospital in a critical condition. The driver of the vehicle was uninjured.

Officers from Bankstown Police Area Command established a crime scene, which will be examined by specialist forensic police.
