A woman has died following a three-vehicle crash at Eastwood this afternoon.
About 5pm (Wednesday 13 November 2019), emergency services were called to a three-car crash on Blaxland Road near Doomben Avenue.
The two male occupants of the car travelling south have been taken to hospital suffering spinal injuries.
The female driver of one of the vehicles travelling north died at the scene. A female driver of the third car, also travelling north, was taken to hospital suffering minor injuries.
A crime scene has been established and the Crash Investigation Unit are attending.
A brief will be prepared for the information of the Coroner and the circumstances surrounding the crash will be investigated.
Blaxland Road has been closed until further notice between Balaclava Road to the north and Epping Road to the south.
Motorists are advised to avoid or delay travelling in this area as traffic delays are expected.
