Cairns Regional Council advises of the upcoming road closures associated with the Cairns Festival 2019 Grand Parade on Saturday 24 August.
- Grafton Street: Minnie St to Florence St from 9am to 7pm
- Minnie Street: Sheridan St to the Esplanade from 2pm to 7pm
- The Esplanade: Minnie St to Spence St from 10am to midnight
- Pier Point Road (half road closure): No access to bus stops from 5pm to 8pm.
Residents and traders are asked to observe and obey traffic controllers and signs advising the changes to normal traffic conditions, and follow detours as sign posted.
Council appreciates the cooperation of road users and apologises for any inconvenience caused.
