Just before 2am on Saturday 6 June 2026, emergency services were called to Banksia Avenue, Greenacre, following reports four boys – allegedly armed with bladed weapons – had forced entry into a home, assaulted a 23-year-old man, and demanded cash before leaving in a dark-coloured SUV.
On arrival, police located the 23-year-old with severe injuries to his left hand.
He was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics and taken to hospital, where he remains in a stable condition.
