The search for two bushwalkers missing in the Loddon Range in South-West Tasmania is continuing.
“Around 9.08pm yesterday police received a report of two bushwalkers who had activated a personal locator beacon,” said Sergeant Damian Bidgood.
“Search and Rescue members on the ground and in the Westpac Rescue Helicopter are continuing to search for the two men.”
“The search crews are navigating steep terrain, thick vegetation, with low cloud and rain making conditions difficult.”
“No contact has been made with the walkers since the activation of the beacon last night.”
