Search resumes to locate missing man at Port Macquarie

The search for a missing man on the Mid North Coast has resumed today.

Kyle Geaney, aged 41, was last seen in Port Macquarie driving a 2014 white Ford Ranger XL dual cab utility bearing QLD registration 466-ZGH, about 10.30am on Thursday 26 October 2023.

When he could not be located or contacted, officers from Mid North Coast Police District were notified and commenced inquiries to locate him.

Police and family hold serious concerns for his welfare.

Kyle is described as being of Caucasian appearance, medium build, about 177cm, with medium-length brown hair and is unshaven.

He was last seen wearing a blue vest with a long sleeve shirt, pants, and shoes. The colour of the shirt, pants and shoes are unknown.

As part of inquiries, police located the man’s vehicle in the vicinity of Nobby’s Beach, Port Macquarie. Officers have since located other personal items belonging to Kyle.

Several searches of the area have been conducted; however, Kyle is yet to be found.

As of 8am today (Wednesday 8 November 2023), a land search conducted by local police, NSW SES volunteers and Surf Life Saving NSW has resumed near the Tacking Point Lighthouse area.
