A search is underway to locate a teenage boy currently missing in the Burwood area.
Jason Selvanayagam, aged 14, was last seen on Shaftesbury Rd, Burwood, about 11am today (Saturday 16 September 2023).
When he could not be located, officers from Burwood Police Area Command were notified and commenced a search to locate him.
Jason lives with autism and is non-verbal and police and family hold serious concerns for his welfare.
Jason is described as being of Pacific Islander/Maori appearance with a dark complexion, of medium build, with short black hair.
He was last seen wearing black shorts and a white shirt. He is not wearing shoes.
Jason is believed to be in the Burwood area.
