Martha Ama Akyaa Pobee, Assistant Secretary-General for Africa in the Departments of Political and Peacebuilding Affairs and Peace Operations, and Tom Fletcher, Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator, will brief the 15-member Council on recent developments in Sudan.
Sudan and the United Arab Emirates will also participate in the meeting under rule 37 of the Council’s rules of procedure.
