Heavy rain is expected to impact the Gold Coast with localised flooding expected in low lying areas.
River level rises are likely to follow periods of heavy rainfall, however, the timing and areas for initial flood impacts are uncertain across the Flood Watch area. Flood Warnings will be issued for catchments with observed rainfall where flooding is expected. Catchments likely to be affected include Logan and Albert Rivers, Gold Coast Rivers and Creeks.
Remember: If it’s flooded, forget it.
