Shots fired into Revesby home, NSW

Inquiries are underway after shots were fired into the rear of a house at Revesby this morning.

Officers from Bankstown Police Area Command were called to the home on Marco Avenue shortly before 12.30am (Monday 25 November 2019), after multiple calls to Triple Zero (000) reporting shots had been heard in the vicinity.

Police established a crime scene and have conducted a canvass of the neighbourhood, assisted by Polair and a team from the Dog Unit.

Officers have been told three men with their faces covered entered the back yard of the property and fired shots into the back of the house. They then jumped over a back fence to escape.

Four people inside the house at the time were not injured.

An investigation is now underway and police are appealing for anyone with information, or who may have seen a vehicle leaving the vicinity about 12.30am to call Bankstown Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
