South Australia coronovirus update as at 15 November

The Department of Health has today reported four new cases of COVID-19 – all are in hotel quarantine.

The cases comprise two females and two males. All were associated with international travel.

The State’s positive COVID-19 case total stands at 787. WA Health is monitoring 13 active cases and 765 confirmed cases have recovered from the virus in WA.

No passengers arriving at Perth Airport yesterday failed their health screening.

Three passengers who arrived from Sydney chose to receive a COVID-19 test at the airport. All three were asymptomatic and did not fail health screenings. All will receive their results while they are self-quarantining at home for 14-days under the current Directions, given they travelled from a low risk State.

A fourth traveller, from Darwin, also chose to receive a COVID-19 test. They were asymptomatic and had passed their health screening.

Yesterday 434 people presented to WA COVID-19 clinics – 412 were assessed and 410 swabbed.

There have been 514,223 COVID-19 tests performed in WA. Of those tested, 86,070 were from regional WA.
