The Special Meeting of Council will be held to discuss matters relating to Coronavirus (COVID-19).
The purpose of the meeting is for the Council to determine how it will respond to the COVID-19 pandemic and resulting directions from the Minister for Local Government, including:
- how the City will respond to and recover from the COVID-19 pandemic;
- a zero percent rate increase for 2020/21;
- measures to support and create capacity in the local economy; and
- measures to support the community through this crisis.
A proposal to commence all Council Meetings at 5.30pm will also be considered.

Members of the public can do longer attend Council Meetings for the foreseeable future, however you are invited to live-stream the meeting.
