The Office of Social Impact Investment is pleased to have partnered with the NSW Department of Education in sponsoring the Social Enterprise World Forum (SEWF) 2022 Bursary Partnerships Program.
The SEWF 2022 is being held in Brisbane from 28 to 29 September and is an international event for social enterprise practitioners, corporate, policymakers, public sector supporters, academics and social investors.
Twenty-one community leaders from social enterprises across NSW, including four from regional NSW, have been selected through an independent process to attend the SEWF through the bursary.
Recognising the need to invest in capability building, the sponsorship is intended to provide social enterprises in NSW with an opportunity to build their capability through attending an international conference for their sector. This is aligned with the NSW Government’s Social Impact Investment Policy 2.0, where one of the priorities include building a broader and more diverse impact investing ecosystem by fostering growth of the NSW social enterprise sector.
