The Allan Labor Government’s announcement of $2 million for CCTV upgrades at some regional train stations fails to improve the safety of commuters.
Whilst Labor spins this modest upgrade, they are ripping PSOs from 119 train stations across metropolitan Melbourne, despite criminal offending being at a record high.
Only the Liberals and Nationals have a plan to keep communities safe by recruiting an additional 200 PSOs and ensuring they are returned to every metropolitan train station, every night.
