Politics is a brutal profession and today has been especially hard for the Premier of New South Wales, Gladys Berejiklian.
It is very sad to lose such an outstanding individual, whose decency has been evident since she was first elected to the seat of Willoughby.
There are many reasons for her resignation, but one of the most prominent is to clear the air for her colleagues.
Gladys Berejiklian has done an exceptional job serving and leading New South Wales.
As the New South Wales Liberal Party prepares to elect a new leader, I am certain the New South Wales Liberal and Nationals Government will carry on with the vital work they were elected to do and take the strongest economy in our nation further yet again.
